A cracking psychological thriller in two acts by the author of "Same Time Next Year". It's a challenge, not least because we need a Jacuzzi on stage but it's simply a very good thriller.
The Plot (briefly, without giving anything away!)
Blair is a famous actress about to be divorced from her second husband, Morgan, who has called at Blair's hideaway - Nantucket Beach House - to collect his paintings. A second visitor is Tony Lombardi, a paparazzi journalist who has dogged (in the stalking sense) Blair for fifteen years and whom she has sued for harassment. His obsession with Blair certainly goes beyond professional interest, but what does he want? And how does Maggie Stratten, Blair's agent, fit into the picture?
The Characters
Blair Griffin - a fragile looking child woman (late 30's to early 40s)
Morgan Richards - Blair's husband - (40s) and attractive
Tony Lombard - (35ish) an intense kinetic
Sgt. Doris Aylesworth - (30/40) pleasant looking, bright and with a nice
sense of humour
Lieutenant Gus Braden - (Late 40s, early 50s) a flawed idiosyncratic wreck
of a man
Maggie Stratten - (35-45) - Beautiful, warm and likeable.
